Statements after the finals game

Bosko Dokic: »We have seen two different half-times. In the second one the game was much more on the edge of fouls. We had an excellent defense in the third period while our pressing in the last five, six minutes decided the game. Reflex played then finals in its history, taking only three wins, and players obviously are more mature now. If we look at the whole situation, Reflex also dominated the regular season of the Goodyear league. Our efforts paid off. This is a big trophy for us and for myself as the new coach.«

Drazen Anzulovic: »If we would play the first half as we did in the second we might have won. But we made some stupid things, allowin Reflex to return into the game. I am totally sure my players were fouled at least three times in the last 5 seconds. It was seen some of my players were exhausted and some just not fit enough. Every two, three minutes dome of them asked me to put him on the bench. We were just not relaxed enough, we should not be under such pressure.«

Sasa Stefanovic: I was the worst player during the whole match, but when I stepped at the line I knew I will score. This is an unknown experience for me, reminding me of my three pointer against Juventud in the semifinals of the ULEB Cup.

Reggie Freeman: I am extremely happy, I cannot explain my emotions. We finally won this trophy. Now with it I can leave the club which I love very much.

Kimani Ffriend: This is a huge success especially for our club. I am sure that we are one of the best clubs in Europe, which this time we proved on the court.

Ognjen Askrabic: It is difficult to control emotions. It is our third win against Cibona, but certainly the dearest one. We played smart, we knew we should not run the court with them. The coach calmed us down all the time, said we have the quality to succeed.

Marko Popovic: We had the game in our hands, but we lost in the last minute. It is hard to say anything shortly after the game, although I will have problems to sleep tonight.

Jurica Golemac: It was up to me to decide the game but I missed three free throws and I apologise to everyone because of that. I don't know what is going on with my free throws in the last time. I never was the best, but I never ever missed this much. Their lucky three pointer decided at the end, but finally it was only our error.

Slaven Rimac: I don't know why I didn't play, that's the matter for the coach. I am angry and dissapointed because of that. In the last time I played with injury only because of this Final Four and I think I deserved to play the finals after everything I did this season. And if anyone had to blow it that it had to be me. Reflex deserved to win, although Pukl had three-four bad decision nobody understood at the end.

Andrija Zizic: It is hard to say anything. We gave our best, but the luck was tonight on Reflex side.
